1 cup raw almonds, soaked overnight or up to 2 days*
4 cups water
2-3 tbsp maple syrup*
1 tbsp vanilla extract
Pinch of sea salt

Measuring cup
Blender or food processor
Cheesecloth or nut bag

1. Drain and rinse your soaked almonds.
2. Add all the ingredients to a blender and blend on high speed until creamy and smooth.*
3. Lay a clean cheesecloth over a large bowl and pour over the almond mixture, then carefully gather the corners of the cheesecloth, lift up and twist close. Then squeeze and press until all of the liquid is extracted.
4. Transfer milk to a sealed container and refrigerate for up to 3 days. Shake well before drinking.

*Place the almonds in a bowl and cover with 2 cups of water or until they are fully covered plus 2.5 cm (1 inch) of water. Allow soaking overnight or up to 2 days for creamier results.

*You can omit the maple syrup if you want to have this unsweetened.

*You may divide the ingredients equally if your blender is not big enough to avoid any spillage.
